the speakers at twice the ceiling height. If the ceiling is 12 feet high, space the speakers 24 feet apart. This will
provide uniform coverage.

First,ndthecoveragegivenbyonespeakerinsquarefeet.Thecoverageofonespeakeristhespacingtimesitself.
Inotherwords,ifthespeakersarespaced20feetapart(becauseof10feetceilings)then20feetX20feet=400sq
feet.Next,dividethesquarefootageoftheroombythesquarefootcoverageofonespeaker.Forexample,ifaroom
measures60feetX100feet(6000sqfeet)divide6000sqfeet(thesquarefootageoftheroom)by400sqfeet(the
squarefootcoverageofonespeaker)andyouwillget15(thetotalnumberofspeakersrequiredforthatroom).Here’s
